Paul Muscutt was recently quoted in Car Dealer Magazine following an investigation into Woodville Consultants, a litigation funder that raised more than £300 million from individual investors before collapsing in July.
Paul commented that he believed “the Woodville investment scheme was fundamentally flawed from the outset,” raising questions about how it could “promise quarterly returns at high interest levels” when the money needed to generate those returns depended on repayments from law firms pursuing claims such as car finance cases, which were uncertain in both value and timing.
