With Season 4 of Ted Lasso coming next month, it was good to be reminded of the infectiously enthusiastic character, Dani Rojas, played by Cristo Fernandez (below).
Mr. Fernandez, as reported by Shafiq Najib for ABC News here, was a football player before he was an actor. Playing Dani Rojas helped him regain his enthusiasm for a sport he left due to injury years ago. He signed a contract with the El Paso Locomotive in May and made his debut, heading on to the pitch in the 79th minute of a game on July 11th. We wish him great success in returning to his first love, and we hope Season 4 of Ted Lasso will be as wonderful as its predecessors.
