41 countries urge 24-hour notice before long-range ballistic missile launches

A joint statement issued at the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva came hours before North Korea fired a ballistic missile off its eastern coast and about a month after China tested a nuclear-capable submarine-launched ballistic missile in the South Pacific.
