82nd Airborne troops’ Middle East deployment extended into 2027

Division commander Maj. Gen. Brandon Tegtmeier announced the extension in a letter thanking families for their “quiet strength” and expressing hope that the message would provide clarity on a deployment that has “presented many unknowns.”
